The German Consulate General Recommends:
On March 23rd, the Student Choir of the Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena (Germany), directed by Maximilian Lörzer, will visit the German Lutheran Church of St. Pauls to perform a free evening concert.
Founded in 2011 at the Institute of Psychology of the University of Jena (hence the name Psycho-Chor), the choir developed from a small all-women’s ensemble into a mixed choir with about 70 singers and is a musical household-name in the German state of Thuringia. One of the most popular up-and-coming mixed a cappella choirs in Germany, the Psycho-Chor excites audiences of all ages with a gripping repertoire of traditional songs as well as contemporary pop and film music.
Where? The German Lutheran Church of St. Pauls, 315 West 22nd Street (between 8th and 9th Ave), New York.
When? Friday March 23, 2018 at 7:00 pm.
Admission is free.
