The German Consulate General Recommends:
Filmed for a student thesis, Tilman Singer’s Luz counts as the most audacious and flat-out horror debut in years: the young taxi driver Luz enters a police station after she’s been assaulted while nearby in a bar, a mysterious woman called Nora, who seductively recounts a private story on police psychotherapist Dr. Rossini. As both situations transpire, the connections between Luz and Nora set the stage for a demonic night from hell.
