First Deutschlandjahr Event at the German House New York!

To kick off the Year of German-American Friendship at the German House, The University of Cologne NY Office, the DFG and the GCRI hosted a noteworthy Leibniz lecture on “Economic Engineering of Human Cooperation and Competition” with Prof. Dr. Axel Ockenfels.

In 2005, Ockenfels was the first economist in 17 years to receive the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize from the DFG, the highest award for a German scientist across all fields. The event on Tuesday evening was splendidly attended by a broad mix of guests ranging from experts, to academics, to graduate students and industry representatives to the general public, underlining how #WunderbarTogether we are.
