The Music of Sir Karl Jenkins: A 75th Birthday Celebration, on January 21, 2019 at Carnegie Hall.

The German Consulate General Recommends:

DCINY presents the US premiere of Welsh composer and DCINY’s composer-in-residence Sir Karl Jenkins’s Symphonic Adiemus as well as Jenkins’s Stabat Mater. Maestro Jonathan Griffith leads the Distinguished Concerts Orchestra and Distinguished Concerts Singers International in a celebration of Sir Karl Jenkins’s 75th birthday.

Featuring German Choirs: Kantorei St. Andreas – Director Andreas Pasemann, Evangelische Johanneskirchengemeinde Sindelfingen – Director Angelika Sischka, Kirchenchores an St. Josef, Langenfeld-Immigrath – Director Gertrud Pruss, Crescendo Chor Krefeld – Director Heinz-Peter Kortmann, Ehrenfelder Kantorei - Director Joachim Diessner, Pfarrgemeinde Schwabmünchen – Director Stefan Wagner, Neuwieder Konzertchor – Director Thomas Schmidt, Chorlores – Director Harald Bleimehl, Auersperg-Gymnasium Passau Freudenhain – Director Brigitte Glas, and Die VielHarmonie – Director Harald Bleimehl.
