On Tuesday evening, our exhibition season at the Consulate General kicked off with two outstanding artists: Born in Saxony-Anhalt, Moritz Goetze’s and Ruediger Giebler’s work reflects the cultural heritage of Central and Eastern Germany in a dynamic, colorful and diverse way.
In the words of our Head of Culture and Science, Yasemin Pamuk, “Diplomacy does and should go beyond our daily work of dealing with international politics, global economy and science or legal and consular affairs”, hence, the consulate celebrates artists and their artwork in all its forms and expressions.
Despite the unpleasant weather, many guests defied the snow with a cheerful and inspiring atmosphere at the vernissage. In case you’ve not yet had the chance, please feel free to explore the Giebler & Götze’s “Grand Tour” in our lobby from Monday to Friday between 9 am and 5 pm until the end of April.
