Two young singer awardees of the Wagner Society of New York will appear in recital on Sunday, May 19, at 5 p.m. at the Liederkranz Foundation.

The German Consulate General Recommends:

Two young singer awardees of the Wagner Society of New York will appear in recital on Sunday, May 19, at 5 p.m. at the Liederkranz Foundation, 6 East 87th St., Manhattan. The event, with reception, also will celebrate the birthday of Richard Wagner (May 22, 1813). Susanne Hendrix, mezzo soprano, from Iowa  (2017 Robert Lauch Award recipient) and Carami Hilaire, soprano, from Brooklyn (2017 WSNY grantee, with Craig Ketter, piano, will perform works by Barber, Brahms, Duparc, Ponchielli, Strauss, Verdi and Wagner, including duets from “Aida” and “La Gioconda”.
