One month ago, 20 new volunteers with Action Reconciliation, Service for Peace arrived from Germany. Their goal: to dedicate one year of their lives to change the lives of others for the better. They work in numerous organizations with Holocaust survivors, homeless people and handicapped persons.
This past Tuesday, we got to know the New York group. Those young women and men are making a difference. They spell out the true meaning of the word “reconciliation” in their daily work.
The German Consulate General is proud to be part of their circle of support!
