A holiday concert and DAAD alumni networking event.

Harmonies Across Borders: Celebrating Cultural Connections Across the Atlantic is a concert featuring a family of musicians: brothers Alexander, Raphaël and Adrien Liebermann as well as their father, Rüdiger Liebermann, a longtime member of the Berlin Philharmonic.

The concert celebrates friendship between two sides of the Atlantic by strengthening cultural exchange through the power of music. In the current diplomatic context, with the ongoing wars and rising tensions between global forces, we need to focus on strengthening relationships and longstanding ties between Europe and the US. DAAD has been supporting academic and cultural exchanges for years with the aim of promoting better mutual understanding around the globe. The fact that the three of these talented musicians are DAAD alumni demonstrates a profound impact that the DAAD can have across generations even in one family only.
