Visa application procedure in Miami
Visa applications for residents of Florida, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and the Bahamas only.
SCHENGEN VISA
Beginning on December 1, 2022 applicants living within the jurisdiction of the Consulate General in Miami can apply for a Schengen visa via the service provider BLS International.
The visa application centers facilitate the application process. BLS International has no influence on processing of your application.
A final decision about visa applications will be solely taken by the competent German mission. Appointments for Schengen Visa can be booked here

Please note that Honorary Consuls in Florida and Puerto Rico cannot accept visa applications.
To return your passport with the visa by mail, we exclusively use USPS Overnight Express within the U.S. or Puerto Rico for an extra fee of 28 USD, payable in cash or money order only.
Residents of the Bahamas may submit a prepaid shipping label and envelope from a mail carrier, for example UPS, FedEx or DHL.
