lt is estimated that more than 2.5 million children have been internally disp/aced within Ukraine and approximately 2 million children have been forced to f/ee as the war in Ukraine rages on. Children make up half of all refugees. There is a deep concern for those stranded in. or unab/e to /eave. encirc/ed areas due to heightened security risks

and /ack of safe exit routes. Reports of severe shortages of food. water. heat. and other basic essentia/s continue to increase. highlighting the importance of safe. unfettered humanitarian access to all areas of the country. Our student musicians are performing at the SAJ in New York, broadcast live via Zoom to raise desperately needed funds to help Ukrainian children. Our young musicians' mission is to offer hope and a moment of relief for Ukrainian children, and to remind them that they are not alone or forgotten!

The Associated Music Teachers League is a tax-exempt non-profil 501(c)3 music organization founded in New York City in 1925. Our membership consists of professional musicians. music teachers. university and conservatory faculty and students. and performing artists. We welcome individuals. organizations. and businesses to join us as both active Members or Donate.
