The Consulate General of Germany in New York cordially invites you to raise a toast to Trier-based choreographer Saeed Hani at the May 20 world premiere of Hofmann Dances, presented by Battery Dance.

Hani, a “New German” originally from Syria, has performed and co-led Battery Dance’s social-impact project “Dancing to Connect for Refugee Integration” for two years in Germany. Now he brings his choreographic talents to Hofmann Dances, a trio of new dance works inspired by the German-born artist Hans Hofmann, one of the 20th century’s most influential painters, known as the “father of abstract expressionism.”

Battery Dance is pleased to offer a 25% ticket discount to the May 20 show for friends of the German Consulate, Deutsches Haus at NYU and Goethe Institute. To attend the performance at Pace University's Schimmel Center (3 Spruce Street) on Friday, May 20 please enter code Hofmann25 on the Battery Dance ticketing site.
