The Quadrille Ball is an elegant affair with dancing, live music and fine dining. The most awaited moment of the evening is the Quadrille Dance itself, performed by young volunteer dancers.

Every year, the Quadrille Ball raises funds for scholarships for undergraduate & graduate students looking to study in the USA and Germany, providing them a great opportunity to living and researching in a foreign country & culture.  The 62nd Quadrille Ball will take place in early 2023.

The Quadrille Ball, a white tie charity event, is an annual highlight of the New York ball season. Founded in 1961, the 62nd Quadrille Ball will take place on February 11, 2023.
The highlight of the ball is the Quadrille dance, performed by young volunteers. These dancers are young professionals from different nationalities and backgrounds, who volunteer their time and efforts to support the Stipend Fund. No dance experience is needed to apply. During the rehearsal period, prospective dancers will learn the proper choreography. They also have the opportunity to meet one another on a regular basis and socialize in a warm and welcoming environment.  Many former dancers made good friends and long-lasting connections. The Quadrille Ball continues a long tradition of German Charity Balls in New York; it is the most elegant event in New York’s German-American community.

The Charity:
The annual Quadrille Ball is a fundraiser for scholarships awarded to highly qualified American and German undergraduate and graduate students including PhD candidates. The Quadrille was founded more than 60 years ago to enhance and strengthen transatlantic relationships through education. The Quadrille continues to offer young people and future leaders the opportunity to learn firsthand about a different culture, society, and people and to create their own experiences and to enhance their international education. The Quadrille Ball is administered, planned, organized, and executed exclusively by volunteers with no overhead costs, to maximize the impact of the collected funds for the scholarships. Each year, the Quadrille was able to support more than 20 outstanding young people enrolled at American and or German universities through its scholarship programs.
