GISNY is an excellent German and international school for grades Pre-K through 12 with an emphasis on STEM and languages. We are the only school in the Tri-State area to offer the NY State High School Diploma and the German International Abitur. In our Pre-K and kindergarten, 3-5 year old children find a warm and nurturing environment in small groups and plenty of space on our large, green campus. Our youngest students learn, explore and play outdoors for most of their school day. German language skills are not required in preschool or kindergarten. The children learn and speak German and English, laying the foundation for their bilingualism by first grade.
