Global School Brooklyn’s November Events Join us in November for an upcoming tour or our community concert to explore our campus, meet new families and learn more about our German and Spanish immersion programs. 
Global School Brooklyn is a dual immersion international school for preschool through 8th grade students and an official German school abroad. Through our German–English and Spanish–English immersion programs, students experience meaningful bilingual learning. Our students develop strong language skills and a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and global perspectives. Our inquiry-based curriculum encourages students to ask questions, explore ideas, and make meaningful connections to the world around them. From the earliest years, children learn through hands-on activities, music, and play to help them acquire language naturally. As they progress into middle school, students take on increasingly complex concepts that challenge their thinking and prepare them for advanced study in both languages. Applications are now open for the '27-'28 school year and we are still admitting new students, on a case-by-case- basis, for the '26-'27 school year. Join us this fall at the German International School New York (GISNY) for two special open house events designed to give families a closer look at our vibrant, internationally minded school community. Saturday, October 24 | 10 am–1 pm Kinderfest Open House | Ages 2-5 Celebrate the joy of early learning at GISNY’s annual Kinderfest! Families can enjoy outdoor, autumn-themed crafts, music, and a very special highlight: a petting zoo! Explore our nurturing Pre-K and Kindergarten outdoor classrooms, meet our dedicated educators, and connect with current GISNY families. Discover how our bilingual program supports young minds by strengthening problem-solving, focus, and cognitive flexibility from an early age. Wednesday, November 4 | 3:30–4:45 pm Open House with Lantern Crafting | Ages 2-8 Experience a cozy afternoon at GISNY with lantern crafting and seasonal fun. Tour our vibrant learning spaces, meet our Head of Lower School, teachers, and student ambassadors, and discover how our engaging curriculum lights the path for young learners. A guided campus tour will also be offered, providing an inside look at the spaces where our students learn, grow, and thrive. Both events are wonderful opportunities to discover how GISNY’s bilingual, internationally focused program fosters academic success, social growth, curiosity, and a strong sense of school community.
