Family-Friendly Open House at GISNY
You're Invited: Discover GISNY This Fall at Our Kinderfest & Lantern Crafting Open Houses
Join us at the German International School New York (GISNY) for two special open house events this fall.
Saturday, Oct. 25 Open House at our Kinderfest | 10 AM – 1 PM (for PreK and K)
GISNY’s Kinderfest is a joyful celebration of early learning, featuring outdoor autumn-themed crafts, music, plus a very special highlight: a petting zoo! Families can explore our nurturing Pre-K and Kindergarten outdoor classrooms, meet our educators, mingle with current families, and discover how our bilingual program strengthens brain development by boosting problem-solving, focus, and cognitive flexibility from an early age.
Thursday, Nov. 6 Open House with Lantern Crafting | 3 – 4:30 PM (for PreK-4th Grade)
Celebrate the season with a cozy afternoon of lantern crafting at GISNY! Explore our vibrant learning spaces, meet our Head of Lower School, teachers, and student ambassadors, and discover how our engaging curriculum lights the path for young learners. A guided campus tour will also be offered.
Both are fantastic opportunities to see how our internationally minded program fosters academic success, social growth, and a vibrant school spirit.

German Language Classes at UNIS
We offer German language classes from preschool to adults.
The German Language School dedicates Saturday mornings to fulfilling a wide-range of
proficiency levels, from beginner to advanced, and from child to adult. Our main goal is to
provide students with a “full immersion” program, in which they may learn, practice, and
grow their understanding of the German language and culture of German speaking countries.
Whether you're seeking continuous education from preschool or aiming for advanced
placement exams and the Sprachdiplom DSD (which presents the language prerequisites to
enter the University System of the German-speaking countries in Europe), we're the right
place.

German-American School Manhattan (GSM) starts Open House and Community Playdate Season
GSM is kicking off the admission season with in-person events. COME AND VISIT THEM! GSM open-format open houses & community playdates are coming soon! The German-American School Manhattan invites families to join the upcoming admissions events, offering a unique opportunity for young participants to engage in both structured and unstructured activities, led by expert GSM teachers. These playdates are perfect for children ages 1-6, along with at least one parent, to explore GSM in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.
