KINO! FILM SALON - A monthly online film club to discuss German film
Each month Telescope Film chooses a German film or series currently available to stream, watch it independently, and come together for a hosted conversation with other fans of German film.
For the November edition of the KINO! Film Salon, in recognition of the 35th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, they will discuss Good Bye, Lenin! directed by Wolfgang Becker and starring Daniel Brühl.
In 1989, Alex is living with his mother and sister in Berlin. One day, his mother, a loyal member of the Socialist Unity Party, has a heart attack and falls into a coma, missing the fall of the Wall. Warned that any shock could cause his mother to relapse, Alex and his sister must pretend that the Wall is still standing.
