New Chamber Ballet celebrates its 20th Anniversary season with the world premiere of Stargazing, a ballet by German-born Miro Magloire to music by Christian-Frédéric Bloquert.

Performed in New Chamber Ballet's signature, in-the-round setup, with the audience seated up-close and able to see the dancing from various angles, Stargazing is a rhapsodic fantasy that revolves around the interweaving of music and dance.

Bloquert's score for violin and piano, performed live, subtly evokes and pays tribute to two iconic ballets: Tchaikovsky's Serenade and Stravinsky's Agon.

Performers include the dancers Anabel Alpert, Megan Foley, Nicole McGinnis, Amber Neff, and Rachele Perla; as well as Madeline Hocking (violin) and Sophiko Simsive (piano).
