Heidelberg University Association is excited to announce that the stipends are available to qualified students from a United States university planning to study at Heidelberg University.

HAUS Scholarships are funded by generous donations from alumni and members of Heidelberg Alumni U.S. (HAUS). Our alumni community is proud to support its future members by making these opportunities available.

The HAUS Study Scholarship:

The scholarship award is $7,000 for master’s program students or $4,500 for bachelor’s program students for the 2025-26 academic year.

We are seeking candidates with a strong academic background who can also fulfill the role of ambassador for HAUS upon their return from their study abroad experience.

The HAUS Summer School Scholarship – Get a taste of Heidelberg and Improve your German

HAUS offers scholarships for the month-long International Summer School of German Language and Culture at Heidelberg University. This course allows you to improve your language skills at Germany’s oldest university with students from all over the world. There are a variety of course levels from which to choose, and they all fit into an annual theme. This year's theme is “Zeitenwende: Politics and Society in Transformation” and the summer program takes place from July 31 to August 27, 2025.
