Chanteuse Internationale and story teller Adrienne Haan extraordinaire, quoted by the New York Times as a “top entertainer of the highest caliber,” takes the audience on a fast-paced and entertaining journey around the world, presenting well-known and lesser-known songs in 14 languages.
Adrienne Haan's ONE WORLD show now in 14 languages returns to the Triad NYC! - Curious how that sounds like? - Then come and join us!
We are ONE WORLD and have to share this planet whether we want to or not! We are a colorful world with colorful people and everyone speaks a different language and is from somewhere else! That’s the excitement of being human. How boring would it be if we all looked or sounded the same?
Especially now it is more important than ever to take a stand against the rapid rise of populism, prejudice, xenophobia, racism and antisemitism as we are ONE HUMAN RACE and ONE WORLD.
Chanteuse Internationale and story teller Adrienne Haan extraordinaire, quoted by the New York Times as a “top entertainer of the highest caliber,” takes the audience on a fast-paced and entertaining journey around the world. Accompanied by her long-time pianist, Richard Danley and drummer Mike Campenni, she presents well-known and lesser-known songs in German, Luxembourgish, English, Swedish, French, Spanish, Italian, Ukrainian, Yiddish, Hebrew, Turkish, Mandarin, Zulu, and, the latest addition, Armenian! Highlighted genres are musicals, pop, French chansons and world music presented in her strong and versatile singing voice. As usual, Haan shares exciting and hilarious stories from her travels around the globe and why she keeps adding new languages to her shows every year.
This will be an exceptionally exciting evening full of laughter, fun and great entertainment.
