The KINO! Film Salon is a free monthly online film discussion group about German film, produced by Telescope Film and the German Film Office. Each month we choose a German film or series currently available to stream, watch it independently, and come together for a hosted conversation with other fans of German film.

Our film for July is Cuckoo, directed by Tilman Singer. When Gretchen's mother dies, she moves to Germany to live with her father and stepmother, who give her a job at their hotel in the Bavarian alps. Things quickly begin to go wrong, with many guests suffering from nausea and seizures. While investigating the reason for the problems at the resort, Gretchen uncovers a family secret.
