Friedrichs Pontone and 1014 invite you to step behind the canvas of one of Hwang Seontae’s Sunshine works. Using layers of glass, he shows how light can change a space, turning quiet, empty interiors into scenes full of life, shadows, and small glimpses of the world outside.

During the 15 minute introduction to Hwang Seontae’s work, Martin Friedrichs will give us a rare glimpse into the inner workings of these lightboxes to explore its magic. As always, we invite you to enjoy brunch and experience the rest of the exhibition afterwards.
